Skrillex Will Open for Guns N’ Roses

In probably what is one of the strangest but most interesting combinations for a concert, Skrillex will be opening for Guns N’ Roses!

Many people were shocked when they first heard these news, but it shouldn’t come that much of a surprise when the EDM-producer has been mixing a lot of tunes with that of rock these days. Some people even speculate that he may be in the works of a collaboration piece with the infamous band that rocked the 80’s. Guns N’ Roses’ will be on tour again for a monstrous show called the Not In This Lifetime reunion tour. As confirmed by an official Guns N’ Roses tweet (see below), Skrillex will kick off the intro at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on August 5th. Following him will be other openers on the tour such as  Chris Stapleton, Lenny Kravitz, Alice in Chains, Billy Talent and the Cult. Here is the  full list of tour dates below!

It’s going to be quite ironic when the Axl Rose starts singing “Paradise City,” while Skrillex will be hanging there, no? In addition, be sure to watch the video for Skrillex’s “Rock n Roll (Will Take You to the Mountain)” to see how Skrillex really, truly rocks out! And, don’t forget to let us know what you think of Skrillex being the opening act for the band who have an appetite for destruction. (I hope you get that, otherwise, don’t call yourselves rock fans.)
