Budweiser proudly presents to you the Made In America Festival lineup!
The Budweiser Made in America Festival announced its 2016 lineup today, and it has some of music’s biggest names to perform this year. The headliner will be Rihanna and Coldplay, followed by other amazing and renown artists from the hip-hop /R&B domain such as Chance the Rapper, Grimes, DJ Khaled, Bryson Tiller, Travi$ Scott, SZA, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz’s collaborative effort ‘ColleGrove.’
But the event only gets bigger with Madeon and Adventure Club covering the EDM division and 18 up-and-coming “Tidal Rising” artists who will be featured on the Tidal stage. This particular stage is meant to showcase the next generation of talent, some of which include Desiigner, Kodak Black, Dave East, and Lil Yachty.
This will be the fifth year of the festival! It was originally established in Philadelphia in 2012, and this year it will take place back in Philly over Labor Day weekend, on Saturday, Sept. 4 th and Sunday, Sept. 5th. The Early bird tickets are already sold out, but rumor has it that there will be an exclusive pre-sale for Tidal subscribers that starts Wednesday at 10 a.m., with the general sale commencing next Monday.
What? You can’t go to Philly this year? No, worries, the festival’s got you covered with live streaming. All of the performances will be livestreamed on the platform Tidal. This marks the 2nd year that the Jay-Z created music streaming service will be livestreaming the ‘Made in America Festival’ performances. But this isn’ t shocking since our big shot is also the festival curator.
2015’s festival was an explosive banger, headlined by Beyoncé and The Weeknd. There were featured appearances from J. Cole, Meek Mill, Bassnectar, Big Sean, and more. In 2014, the festival was split between its conservative and traditional location of Philadelphia with and Los Angeles.
