Major Lazer, the triple threat of EDM producers, Diplo, Jillonaire and Walshy Fire, have released their brand new music video for the the track “Night Riders.”
The song comes of their album Peace Is The Mission, that was released in April of 2015. Their song “Power” featuring Ellie Goulding made huge hits as well as many other songs on the compilation; however, “Power’s” music video is followed up by a dark, action-packed, and grungy cinematic adventure that is “Night Riders,” the EDM-Hip-hop mélange that was explosive when it first came out. In its music video installment, Travi$ Scott is the leading male protagonist who practically becomes the cynical, stoic storyteller, embodying a true Night Rider on this night of horror-filled events. Scott is also the only collaborator of the song who actually performs in the KILLDEATH-directed clip.
In this installment, we follow a young woman through the neon red light districts of a city, where she works as a stripper. The visuals of this music video display the ultimate night of terror while the banger rolls out the rest of the setting. Fire, explosions, sports cars, fight clubs, parties, beautiful strippers, thugs, dark lights, smoke, and blank faces star in this night of total debauchery.
The song owned the radio-waves when it was first heard by fans. The collaboration of Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, 2 Chainz and Mad Cobra was a recipe for a record hit, and even though it was last year, the team did not feel that the song lost its magic and decided that this summer would be the best time to release a music video for it now. Needless to say, this song is lit.

The story-line is vile and cryptic; it portrays the perfect late night vibes that you picture in your mind when you think of the lifestyle of a Night Rider.
In addition, Major Lazer has been working ona new project, but no word or news have been heard as to when this will be. What we do know though, is that the first single “Cold Water” features both Justin Bieber and MØ. If you remember that killer song titled “Lean On” that the EDM trio produced, MØ also featured on that, so this new single should be good! According to Diplo, we should be hearing that song in a few weeks. Diplo also had told Billboard that he was working on some new material that would include The Weeknd, Sia, and Travi$ Scott on the new project. Considering all of Diplo and Major Lazer’s recent products and success, our expectations are high, but we trust that these guys will kill the game. At least we have this new music video while we wait.
