TDE Tour Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q

Recently, the TDE CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, answered some tweets from fans, and he also gave away a little hint that the label may be going on tour once all of the artists drop their new projects!

No one knows when this amazing TDE tour will happen, but we may know that it should include: ScHoolboy Q, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and some new artists, one in particular being Lance Skiiiwalker.

Lamar then dropped his B-sides project called untitled unmastered, a surprise release to all that came out in March. Now, ScHoolboy’s Q is preparing for his new release Blank Face LP, which is due to come out July 8th. SZA has been pretty silent lately, but she did appear on Rihanna’s album ANTI for the track “Consideration.” Isaiah Rashad, released “Smile” this year so his Cilvia Demo follow-up is in its final stages.

Ab-Soul has let us all know what’s been going on for him. He claimed that TDE prevented him from releasing his album and he even had  threatened to leak his album “like a mixtape.” “I’m gettin very impatient shorty ma! Young nigga tryinna move this dope!” he wrote to a fan on Twitter. Top Dawg tried to appease the artist saying that “you can’t rush greatness.” Nonetheless, the rapper leaked “47 Bars,” but as soon as it came, it was taken away. There was a post though of Top and Soul  in the studio listening to a snippet from the album to prep it for the mixing and sample clearing process.

Finally, Jay Rock, who released 90059 back in September, was the one who actually clued us into the big extravaganza. “I think we got a big tour being planned for next year. I don’t really want to talk too much because I’m not sure of the specifics but be on the look out. TDE is coming to a town near you soon, world tour.”

So yes?! 2017?!

Tiffith had responded to a fan’s question on Twitter that read: “getting a TDE tour” and he wrote back “yep.”

Well, that’s promising. He then posted:

Even if he breaks our hearts about a tour, at least we know there will be a lot of dope material from the artists themselves being dropped and released in the coming year.

And all in all, 2016 is a BIG year for Top Dawg Entertainment. And who knows! If all goes well and planned, we may get an epic experience of hip hop presentations from Black Hippy!
