Drake Announces That He Is Working On a New Mixtape

Drake likes these Views.

The views are pretty sweet from up here on top of the charts for Drake, and he’s not planning on backing down anytime soon. In a recent show he did in Missouri whilst on his Summer Sixteen Tour, the “Too Good” artist announced to the crowd that he’s got a new mixtape in the works.

Clearly, the past year of back-to-back full-length studio albums If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2015) and VIEWS (2016), plus all of the collaborations, features, videos, reunited loves, Budden disses, concerts, memes, Cheesecake Factory meals, and more, have not been enough for this go-getter in the music industry.

The OVO rapper & singer has not given us any more information besides that, but hopefully he’ll reveal more to us as his tour comes to a close next month. And because of how fast he moves, who knows, he might drop a single along the way.

So, what’s next do you think for this hip hop aficionado?

In other Drizzy news, he is also preparing for his OVO Festival which will be coming up on July 30th with a packed line-up!  Some of the headliners performing that day include Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa!

He’s also been making major records this year with his solo project VIEWS. He was named the first man to sit atop at the NO. 1 spot on the Billboard’s Top Albums Chart for seven straight weeks in a row! AND…the 6 God  has held the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart for nine weeks.

It’s amazing what the Champagne Papi has conquered this year, really proving himself as an artist and riding the fame-train like no other. What should we expect from this new mixtape? So, stay tuned for more details to come! 😉
