Travi$ Scott Announces Release Date of New Album & Drops Single “Sh*t To Lose”

 Scott, come through…

We’ve been tirelessly waiting for Travi$ Scott to drop his highly anticipated album  Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, and for a while, he left us in the dark. But finally, our hip hop artist of the night has announced when the album is to drop, officially.

While performing in New York City last night, the “Nightcrawler” rapper let the crowd know that the wait is almost over. As reported by Hypetrak, he performed with Metro Boomin and that show at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, was lit! And it only got better when Scott began ominously chanting “August 5th” to the crowd in his iconic synthesized voice.

He shouted out “I want everybody to lock in a date right now in their brains…August 5th. Birds in the Trap coming soon!.” The Epic Records signee then bounced right into his latest track release and banger, “Pick Up the Phone,” which made the crowd go wild while he danced around in front of a wicked set. You can see it all unfold below.

In addition to getting this awesome piece of news, Scott blessed us with another new single to preview the album-to-come titled “Sh*t To Lose.” No one else had heard it until last night when Scott performed it at the Brooklyn show, and just from the first few seconds of listening to it, I was hooked, and I can tell it’s going to be another killer Scott hit. You can watch him execute it live on stage in the tweet below:

What do you think of the track, and what do you think of the new project?

A few weeks ago too, Scott had revealed that he would be accompanying the album with a short film, as well. So that is something to look out for, in addition to all of the other hype the artist is putting out like signing a deal with Apple Music.
