Watch Taylor Swift & Nelly Throw It Back Together As They Sing Along to “Dilemma”

“Nelly, I love youuu,” Taylor Swift sung.

Just last week, Nelly and Taylor Swift were hanging out at the same party down in the Hamptons for Karlie Kloss’s birthday bash, and things got exciting when they decided to perform a little duet together.

According to Complex, Nelly was performing his 2002 hit “Dilemma,” when he picked the pop star from the crowd and brought her on stage with him, reassuring her “I know you got this. I know you got this!” The “Blank Space” artist seemed nervous, even a bit shy to sing the famous parts originally sung by Kelly Rowland. That’s when she jumped in, and eventually after a few awkward instances, got into the rhythm and flow and started really getting into the song along side Nelly. The two musicians took the stage and revived a hip hop/R&B classic. Nelly and Swift even got down, dancing seductively with one another, smiling, and laughing away.

This wouldn’t be the first time the duo performed together. The last time was at Swift’s concert in St. Louis!

Swift has been under a lot of heat lately, like A LOT. So seeing her out here, having a good time was a little change! She has been trying to stay in the shadows a little bit since the whole Calvin Harris break up and “Nils Sjoberg” situation, where she pretended to be someone else and falsely announce that Swift had written his hit 2016 summer single “This Is What You Came For.” In addition, she also was hiding from the shame she recently experienced when her accusations against Kanye West’s track “Famous” were proven to be lies and that she did give the rapper permission to reference her in his song.

Nonetheless, Swift and Nelly let loose and had fun last week, scandals and all. Check out the footage captured below of the two showing off their throwback skills. How do you think they did?
