Kaytranada Has Announced His Tour Dates For ‘99.9%’

100% he’s going on tour, finally!

Finally, everyone’s favorite digital soundscaper, Kaytranada, is going on tour! He has officially announced the dates, which you can see below, and we’re all excited!

The producer released his full-length studio album 99.9% this year, and it was an instant favorite among fans of his work because it delved into uncharted territory of his own sound and a unique perspective of genres as a whole. Kaytra has worked with many notable artists in the past, including people such as Vic Mensa, Anderson .Paak, River Tiber, Little Dragon, BadBadNotGood, and SYD, among many others.

The “Glowed Up” artist didn’t get his fame so quickly though as he originally began his musical journey back in 2010 when he was producing deep-house heavy hip hop-inspired beats of his own and electronic remixes of popular songs. This Haitian- born, Montreal-raised sound designer fell instantly in love with the DJ world as a young boy and has grown up into a true architect of his own sonic constructions.

Nominated as a Polaris Music Prize winner, Kaytranada is making his way into our hearts one solitary beat at a time. He will be on tour this fall for two full months covering all areas of North America, South America, Australia, and some of the biggest festivals in the world. The first day of the tour will take place in Chile at Centro El Cerro on September 2nd and will make his way all the way to Los Angeles for Tyler, The Creator’s event, The Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival on November 12th and 13th. That’s a long-a** tour, but good for him for getting out there and sharing the music! Courtesy of Hypetrak, you can see the 2016 tour list below:
