Meet the Music: A Networking Event for Music Business Moguls and Performing Artists

Boston University and Berklee College of Music are proud to present their first ever collaborative production!

These two institutions and their Music Business Clubs decided to join forces in this epic endeavor to create a multi-faceted event on the music industry. From this event, they wish to educate students on the realms of the music business world that captivate them the most, such as artist management, public relations, marketing, tour management, production, and even artist performance.

Do you love music? Do you find yourself interested in the music industry? Then get ready to “Meet The Music ” at our collaborative networking event! They hope to put on a spectacular event made for those who want to learn more about the music business world first-hand. The event will feature two guest speakers, Carolyn Girondo, a past marketer for Republic Records and a current music programmer for TouchTunes as well as an Artist Manager, and Russell Elliott, a Brooklyn-based R&B singer making waves with his profound sound. Afterwards, there will be time for Q&A and then networking and performances by student artists from  BU and Berklee’s MBCs. We hope you can join them for a night of sonic talent and informative knowledge on a topic that is a part of our everyday lives!

The event starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 10 pm and will be located at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, at 595 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA.

Tonight is the night you’ve all been hearing about and that you’ve all been waiting for! It’s time Music Business Club to have its biggest kick-off event yet! So come on out, listen to some intriguing figures on the music industry, meet some new friends and people with the same interests and passions, and hear some great talent!

See you “Around”!
