Big News: The Boston Calling Line Up is Out and Just Wow

Finally, the 3 day festival that Bostonians look forward to has announced its lineup – so, let’s get super excited for what will be the 2017 Boston Calling.

Every year, Boston Calling has two major festivals that span over the course of 3 days. One occurs in the fall at the beginning of September (first semester), and the other occurs in Spring at the end of May (right at the end of your last semester). So to all of those freshmen and transfers, if you are looking for a great event to get to know other collegiate folk in the area whilst also listening to some of the best music, then you have to buy your tickets to this concert. Some students have actually claimed that this was where they found their favorite artists before they were too mainstream and that Boston Calling was where they met their best friends who are still close to this day.

So why not share the joy of music! You can even volunteer to help set up and work the event so that you can hear the music ALWAYS.

This year’s line up is pretty dope, if I do say so myself, featuring some of the best acts in indie, hip hop, alternative, EDM, and techno-pop music. This includes artists such as Chance the Rapper, Russ, Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver, Solange, Tegan & Sara, Majid Jordan, Moses Sumney, The XX, Major Lazer, Weezer, Cage the Elephant, Sylvan Esso, Sigur Ros, The 1975, Cousin Stizz, Oh Wonder, Danny Brown,  Francis and the Lights and so much more! Honestly, can you really go wrong?

So where will this magical event take place? Well, in the past it has been at the City Hall Plaza near Fanueil Hall, but this time, it will be at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA, on May 26th, 27th, and 28th (Fri-Sun). Clearly, we are starting of the year right.
