Photographer, Music Journalist, Event Planner, Creative Content Designer, and Multi-Media Marketer

Born in Holden, Massachusetts, Neelu Mohaghegh is now a student at Boston University (Boston, MA) studying in the Questrom School of Business and concentrating in Marketing. She aspires to be working in the music industry one day and has immersed herself with as much of the field as she can. Though young, she has had many successes in her career interviewing and photographing big named-artists of the music business world, such as Zedd, Skylar Grey, Rae Sremmurd, Feenixpawl, Tori Kelly, MKTO, X Ambassadors, Russell Elliot, Banners, The Chainsmokers, and many more. She was  a DJ host of her own station, “On The Verge” on WTBU Radio, Co-Founder of Music Business Club, and is an Editor-In-Chief and Press Manager at Verge Campus Media BU and an Editorial Intern of GoodMusicAllDay (a #1 college music news site). In addition, she interned one summer for Red Light Management out in Los Angeles, California, where she worked alongside the teams of Enrique Iglesias, Portugal. The Man, Corinne Bailey Rae, and more! She is now a College Marketing Representative for SONY Music U, in where she has had the chance to create, develop, and execute marketing campaigns and projects for artists and attend concerts for show reviews including act like Frenship, San Holo, Tinashe, G-Eazy, Miguel, Walk the Moon, N.E.R.D., Olivia Noelle, Lil Xan, A. Chal, MGMT, Kent Jones, and more! Aside from listening, creating, and enjoying music, she is also a devotee of digital photography, adores being adventurous and active, and loves traveling! She has also been recognized for a Golden Key, two Silver Keys, and one Honorable Mention by the The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2014: Presented by The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and The Boston Globe for Excellence in Visual Arts and has been featured in the Questrom School of Business’s Magazine, Everett. She is now preparing for the next stage of her life, where she will be pursuing a master’s degree in Media Ventures at Boston University (Fall 2018-Summer 2019).
